Draft and Tryout Policy : Sports programs sanctioned by SCCYAA include leagues with a heightened level of competition but limited roster slots, requiring a tryout process; and multiple teams within an age division, or more players participating than a single team can accommodate, requiring a player assessment/draft. In all cases, SCCYAA requires a fair selection process under the rules and guidelines of the Draft and Tryout Policy. |
Coach Selection Policy: In instances when there are multiple candidates for a single head coaching position with any SCCYAA-sponsored team, and informal discussions cannot resolve the issue, the criteria and selection process of the Coach Selection Policy are required for choosing a head coach. |
