SCCYAA EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING
JANUARY 8, 2007

Attending: John Moran, Sonya Davis, Deb Parkin, Laurie Maddox, Susie Rose, Karen Smith, and Gwen Schwab.

Call to Order and prayer at 7:15p.m.

Minutes from November 13, 2006 meeting approved.

New Business:
Sports boards and programs-Moran
It was discussed that a binder needs to be set up for each sport holding the guidelines and timetables for that sport.  The binder then can be passed down through the        boards and there will be guidelines for the next board to follow.  It is however,        imperative that each sport has a board to organize this endeavor. Currently there         are boards for football, soccer and lacrosse.

Baseball-Pat Fratto
Pat Fratto is holding a tryout for the 8th grade boys comp team.  It is open to boys from St. Johns, Blessed Sacrament and St. Francis.  It will be held at Athletic Edge, and information went out in the Wednesday newsletter. St. John’s will not be involved in PARA sponsored baseball again this year.  There currently is not a baseball representative for SCCYAA or a board, so unless one is established or someone volunteers to run it, the baseball recreational program could be in jeopardy.
