Old Business:
Regarding action with a lacrosse coach. That coach will no longer be coaching at the Skaggs Catholic Center.
Adjustments to the manuel-John Moran, Katherine Taddeo, Tricia Heinz, and Laurie Maddox and anyone else available during that time will meet at a selected time to work on this project. One change will be that the high school athletic program will form a committee to implement coaching strategies and drafting procedures. A Juan Diego Youth Football board has already been put into place. John Miller will supply a list of youth basketball coaches to Steve Cramblitt to be presented to the girl and boy’s basketball coaches at Juan Diego. John Moran will help to establish the high school basketball and wrestling committees
New Business:
Cross Country-The high school coach is not interested in embracing the youth program. Where do they go from here?
Deb Parking as spoken with Kris Tapp regarding the use of the high school concession stand for youth football games. She was told “no” because it is too complicated to keep track of the inventory. When Deb continued the conversation she was told to talk to John Moran. John explained that the concessions are complicated because they are run by the boosters and they have been burned in the past. He suggested that she set up a table outside the concession and offer pizza and coke products. Deb will bring the matter up at the next JDYF board meeting and recommend that they revisit the issue next year. |
